That, sadly, is about the extent of what is left of my university Russian. It's such a wonderful language, but I never really had a chance to use it.

You took Russian courses? I am jealous. I've always wanted to learn an uncommon language... not that Russian is uncommon, but not exactly a standard language to study around here.

Of course I also want to learn Gaelic. Ooh, and Romanian. :)

Swedish. I would really like to take Swedish! It seems to be the one thing that's not really offered around here.

Russian was great. I totally enjoyed learning a language with an entirely different alphabet, even if it did feel like kindergarten again right at the beginning. :)

The actual conference starts today, but I am having fun! These are my people, and it just isn't hard to feel like I fit in.
