One of my fav restaurants when I lived in Bloomington. Interesting to note that the restaurant is owend by a Professor Emeritus who is also the brother of the Dalai Lama.

Yes, I told the Chinese girl that information and also told her about the monastery, the 7th floor of the main library with the Tibetan collection, and the probability of running into an orange-robe-clad monk on the bus.
One of the reasons I love Little Tibet is that their daily soup is alwasy vegetarian. You don't even have to ask.

Are you familiar with librarygal's friend the_sj_cafe? I believe she has accepted an offer to work at IU's library, Bloomington campus. If you know who I'm talking about, she may appreciate your insights into living in that area, since you were there for a year.

You can give her my e-mail address. I lived in Bloomington for 7 years from 1995-2002. Its a great town to live in. There are so many ethnic restaurants and the cultural activities are abound.
