I was THIS close to giving it a poor. Luckily, ship scenes may have saved it from total disaster.

But this was pretty bad, folks. And I thought Deliverance was boring... Nevermind the fact that Wray has had almost zero to do this whole season, and let's face it, ever since way back when she tried to take over the ship and that went to hell? She has not been someone to listen to. Everything out of her mouth tends to be snide and contrary just to be contrary. As far as I'm concerned, nothing she has to say makes any difference anymore, mostly because nothing she has said lately has made any difference.

At least in this episode, she made an effort to do something. I have to say, it was pleasing. Greer didn't seem to have a lot to do, but you can't go very wrong with Greer. Mmmm, Greer. However, I think her forcing Greer to go was a stupid, bad move with no point. I don't think any of the motivations for any of the characters were really fleshed out enough, and I found myself confused as to why certain things did or did not ( ... )

And now I changed my vote to poor because I realized--it's just a bad episode. Just because it has little scenes that are intriguing or fun doesn't mean they save the episode from being bad. I mean, I saved Deliverance from poor because I didn't think it was poorly written so much as it was just really boring. Whereas this is just poorly written.

Although at least now we have the adventures of BatRush and Eli the Boy Wonder.

"Saved" Deliverance from poor? Who are you, Ebert and Roper? Man, get over yourself. It's fans like you that bombed this show. I shouldn't even be calling you a fan with the kind of crap you're saying.

Thank you.

I mean, the "Yeah nobody cares?" with Chloe bit? Oh, well there are other fans around town, you know. I actually do care. Yeah. :|

This seemed a little more like a standard SG-1 type episode to me and I didn't like it as much as "Twin Destinies" or some other episodes. As soon as we saw Airman Evans, I knew he was Lucian Alliance, because that's just the way these things go in Stargate ( ... )

I think Wray was totally out of character and Greer as well. So the writer only got the characters in focus wrong. Otherwise, she is doing fine. I agree that this is not gonna be my favorite episode ( ... )

The whole crew on Destiny is just a financial or a scientific problem. I understand the rationale, but looking at it from Destiny, it is a bit annoying that what is a game of survival for them is just a political issue for those back on earth.

I think that would be another reason for the crew to pull together... if they realize that, hey, we're not really going to get any help.

To be honest, I'm surprised that they were even considering finding another Icarus planet, knowing it'd be one way, and they didn't really have the ability to bring us back without the planet blowing up a few minutes after we're back. I don't think they're really going to do anything about us, because there isn't much we can do--I think it was Rush in Justice that mentioned slyly that we're pretty much on our own out here, and there isn't really anything Homeworld can do. At least, not anytime in perhaps a few years.

On the other hand, it's good to know they're thinking about us and really considering the issue of how do they get to us and how might we be brought home.
