This seemed a little more like a standard SG-1 type episode to me and I didn't like it as much as "Twin Destinies" or some other episodes. As soon as we saw Airman Evans, I knew he was Lucian Alliance, because that's just the way these things go in Stargate.
I saw a very strong parallel between what Michaels said to Chloe about being "out there" doing "God knows what," and her realizing at the end that by being part of the program, she was not exempt from that responsibility, unlike Covel -- and that she had the responsibility to defuse the bomb. I was expecting McGibney to draw those lines very clearly, and was surprised that she didn't. Maybe it's something I'm just seeing myself.
I'm really happy that Camile is finally getting her due. I always saw her as a character that could be very strong -- pretty much everyone in the Stargate Program is required to have ridiculous reserves of strength somewhere; I mean, look at Woolsey. I think she would have grown even more, given time.
I'm still a little leery about Varro. Mike Dopud is playing him like a very straight character, but you still have to wonder what he did to get so high in the organization (I doubt that the LA picked just ANYONE for their ninth-chevron project, having had the intelligence from the Earth project for some time). He's probably still hiding something.
I bet they would have found out what that was just as he and TJ got really close. But I GUESS WE WILL NEVER KNOW, sob.
