k guys. ive managed to find out from fellow spree-ers (thanks guys!!) that this isnt a problem. its simply a procedure that i have to complete upon ordering from uo the first time around. i most prob will have to call in to uo to verify the info though cuz im afraid that they'll cancel our orders as they said will happen after 48 hours. ill go ahead and call with the cost to be split among you guys. any objections? it should be like really cheap only

OKAY!! called in and everything was settled!! (: phew. our orders are processing now. the call charge was just sgd1.40 to be split among the 13 spreers (i didnt get anything). ill update again when our orders are sent out

orders shipped from uo. they made a mistake and left out my vp number though. alrdy emailed vpost about it. (4th aug)

reached vpost and order processed. shipping charge is (SGD) $87.44. which is like a hell lot (*2 of what was expected). dont really know what went wrong. so sorry babes. ill just pay the excess first and collect it from you guys after that after ive re-evaluated the item weightage. but hope you guys dont get too pissed off cuz its my first spree and im kinda unsure about some things. ill do all that i can to ensure this spree goes smoothly though so please bear with me and i apologise first for the shipping cost

okay babes. ive emailed vpost but their reply was it was the volumetric weight they took which is why its so expensive. i replied asking em if boxes were included for shoes and slippers and if so if they could be removed. may take a few days and im not too sure if it'll work to reduce shipping. what do you guys think? should we wait or should we pay for higher shipping str away? (i might be able to use my mom's credit card to get us 12% off to reduce charges) do leave me your comments. oh and there is a base charge of 13.24 that is included inside the 87.44. is there supposed to be?

paid vpostusa. used my mom's uob credit card and got the 12% discount. so total shipping will be sgd76.95. will work out the respective shipping costs to be topped up by each spreer. will find out why shipping was so expensive and arrange for a meetup so everyone can save on postage.
