This is clearly part of a much bigger story, which I am very interested in, but in so few words (which I know is difficult to write!), I found I had a hard time figuring out what was going on. I had to do a lot of re-reading and conjecture, and while I don't mind filling in the blanks in a story, in this case it's hard for me to tell if my conjecture is even correct. It might have been easier to follow if they finished more of their sentences. I really like the interaction between Jeannie and Teyla and the sense of place.

I really like this. The small scene gives us a glimpse of a much larger story (that I hope you'll write) full of mystery and danger. The characterization is well done and these descriptions are lovely.

Wonderful piece between Jeannie and Teyla. Like the touch about Torren and Teyla's resolution. Nicely done.
