Oooh very nice whumpy story. A fav of mine. Love that Sheppard takes Torren to guard him and care for him while he's obviously hurt, because he promised Teyla he would. Sniff. Great job! :)

I wanted to have a bit with the jumper vibrations making him sleep aswell and John explaining how to fly a jumper but the word count meant it got cut....Thanks for commenting hun

I really love this interaction between Sheppard and the baby, and the detail of the HUD lights. I'm a little confused about the circumstances surrounding the scene, and I guess it was the disorientation caused by medical shock that prevented Sheppard from seeking treatment for a life-threatening injury? (He couldn't fulfill his promise to Teyla very well if he died, but if he wasn't thinking that clearly I guess I can understand.)

Thanks. Sheppard was in shock so he doesn't realise he's injured. He's driven by one thought and that's fulfilling Teyla's promise because he honestly thinks she was dead and he can't just sit there and do nothing. Thanks for commenting.
