Always a treat to read your stories! This is the reason that I read fan fiction. The writers sometimes know the characters better that the writers of the show! I love stories when the team is offworld because you get the clear dynamics of the team and how they relate to each other. Your writing is so smooth and the characters are clearly defined. I liked your little diversion with the bug bite! I was just waiting for something to develop out of that and then, Wham, something new. Clever girl. Thanks for another wonderful story.

Aww! Thank you so much! :) I've actually had this "altered John trying to evade/kill his team" idea for a long time and this setting gave me a place to write it.

I adore writing team stories too, *luffs team* and really enjoy it when people like you enjoy what I write. :)

Loved this! I really miss the team. You caught the dynamics between all four of them very well. Perfect voices for them all.
I loved seeing bad a** John. And, Rodney saying he was smart, with John finding out at the end was perfect.
Thanks for posting this. It's almost more fun to be surprised by a new story when you don't expect it, so definitely better late than never.

Thank you! I had a suspicion when I signed up for this in June, that it would be an autumn story instead of a summer one. LOL Moving has a tendency to put ALL other plans on hold.

It was fun to write, I love writing team stuff; adventures, banter, their unspoken commitment to each other, etc. I've always thought that one of the reasons Rodney "puts up with" Sheppard is because, while he won't admit it, he likes that Sheppard is smart enough to mostly keep up with him. ;)

Nicely done!! Good fit with the picture. Great descriptions and character voices. LOVED the team working together to get John back. I also loved John being so good at strategy and evasion and thinking beyond the obvious. Loved Rodney admitting John is smart and then regretting it - so Rodney. This would have made a really cool episode!! I'm so glad you are still around providing us with good SGA reading and Sheppard whumping. That stuff is in short supply these days.

Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun sitting down and writing a team adventure. I've wanted to do a story like this for a while, where Sheppard is altered and the team is trying to get to him/save him/something and he's fighting back. He has a really good tactical mind and we see that every once in a while, so I thought it would be more fun to have him use his mind and strategy, etc, instead of brute force.

I confess, most of this year has been a bit out of whack and offered considerable upheaval here and there, so fandom has suffered for me, but hopefully things are settling back into a routine now that I'm moved and mostly settled. :) More writing in the future, if I have anything to say about it! Have an auction whump story to write next and then other unfinished projects I need to get back to. ;)

And next on my list is other fanfics like the other HC pic challenge stories, that I need to read!
