Gorgeous descriptions, with each sense engaged. When John topped the edge of the valley, it was like I was there, made dizzy by the scale and beauty. Great job! Also, I really do love team stories that don't go crazy but instead show them as a true family with their flaws and their virtues, all open to each other.

Thank you! I'm especially happy that the description of the valley came through -- I wanted to convey the sense of dizzying scale, and I'm glad it worked. :)

just--lovely. The tempo of the visit and the sense of peace and happiness are intertwined, and it's nice to see something go right in the middle of the awfulness.

Thank you very much; I wanted to convey a sense of peace in the middle of disaster, and I'm so glad it came through.

Oh, that was lovely. Sweet, but not too sweet, and the banter between Rodney and Ronon was great, as was John being uncomfortable but still doing the right thing to make Teyla feel better.

This is wonderful. Sweet and funny, and heartwarming with the knitting metaphor and fake-affronted sleepy bonding.

Thank you! I was a bit worried about the knitting metaphor being too strained or silly, so I'm glad it worked. (And I love sleepy!team.)
