Rodney has a hard time with being honest to Gall about Gall’s condition but he tries his best to give moral support and help. This reminds me of “Phantoms” where he carries the stretcher of injured Kagan and tells him not to worry about him, Rodney, but just to hang in there. It’s a side of Rodney’s character we see not as often but it’s definitely there and not a one-time thing here in Defiant One. Though I think the experience and sight of Gall who killed himself will leave psychological marks with Rodney ( ... )
