This post opens discussion of Stargate: Atlantis episode 1x12: "The Defiant One".
This episode first aired in the US 28 January 2005. This episode is parallel to Stargate: SG-1 episode 8x12 "Prometheus Unbound", by original US airdate.
US DVDset summary: Investigating an Ancient weapons platform in space, Sheppard and McKay discover the wreckage of a downed Wraith ship on a nearby planet. On the planet's surface, they learn that it is a supply ship, transporting humans for food. What they don't know is that a single Wraith has survived the crash - and has stayed alive by feeding off the cargo!
