Really like how you handled this concept. Poor John and yet how strong he is. Like that even after his team saves him, he's not miraculously better and still feeling the effects of what he went through.

Thank! A quick fix ending just didn't seem likely or possible to me. Although Sheppard is strong and didn't break, it was bound to have affected him badly.

Most enjoyable! Poor Sheppard. I really felt frustrated for him that nobody seemed to understand what was going on - including me! Lol! Nicely written. Thanks for sharing. :)

Oooh that was fabboo! Lovely whump and angst and, as ever, beautifully written. You've captured the essence of John's personality so well.

Now dammit, why can't I write nice short(ish) fics like this instead of epics that take me weeks to complete?! *sulks*

Thanks! My muse tends to work in the form of epics, too, but I'm finding the flashfic challenges an excellent way to spark shorter ideas - stories I'd probably never have written were it not for the challenge. Plus, I'm between epics at the moment...
