Wow, that was great. Plot was great, characters were great, the length was great...
Just a really great story.
McKay, who's been on the receiving end of one of Teal'c's looms, found the attempt humorous at best.
Heee! Loved that line.

*beams* Thank you so much for the kind words! And the length was totally McKay's fault -- you give that man an inch, he'll take a mile.

Thanks again!

Oh, yay. This was cool. I especially liked the way you managed to make Rodney's homelife sad and funny at the same time. Like, ...my parents were alien janitors that had tossed me down a garbage chute. That's just great. And now I kind of want to see more of this...

Rodney's just tweaked enough to have had a messed up childhood but he's not nearly messed up enough to have had a *totally* messed up childhood -- I'm glad I managed to hit that delicate balance with you :o)))

Thanks for the feedback!

Oh yeah, this is family I know and well, against my better judgement love.

Ah, dysfunction, you gotta love it.

I really enjoyed this story. Thanks.

That's what family *is*, isn't it? A bunch of people that you love yet want to strangle? Makes me glad that Rodney's learning to tell the difference :o)))

I'm glad you enjoyed it -- thanks for the feedback!

Great! A blood challenge without maiming and killing. At least not with success or within the last twenty years. ;P

The fact that *that* sound was reassuring only affirmed what he'd previously thought -- after years of faithful service, his brain obviously hated him. He blamed caffeine withdrawal.

*LOL* It's great to see him struggle with himself. I can totally imagine how his brain doing 'emotional things' would totally freak him out. The recurring 'blame' motif cracked me up.

"Fine, I *apologize*, your brain is nothing less than a marvel of organization. It makes other brains weep in jealous agony, Rodney."

Heee!!!! It's so totally Sheppard - he can't let go of his curiosity.

That was great. Thank you! *is still happy there was no actual blood*

This challenge *has* been very grim, hasn't it? Lots of good stuff, don't get me wrong, but sometimes you just need a bit of fluff. So yay! Glad to be of service :o))))

And dude, it's so good to hear that you laughed! Rodney just kinda took over this thing but I'm glad that John made you chuckle too.

Thanks for the nice words!

Definitely! And it's strange, usually I'm all angst!girl, it can't be too grim for me. But this accumulation of gore somehow got to me.

He *got* kids -- they were annoying and their cuteness was nature's only way of ensuring that you didn't strangle them in their sleep and thus discontinue the species.

Bwahaha! Great description.

I'm new to SG-A fan fiction, but I have a feeling I've just discovered a gold mine!

I second that, that was my favorite line too. (Clearly I love Rodney because we're so in sync on the kid topic.) Great fic, and way to not get all gory on the blood challenge. :D

*grins* Without wanting to sound big-headed, the line *is* very Rodney, isn't it? *bounces* And yay, I'm so glad other people see it as well!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, even without the blood and gore ;oppp

Thanks for the kind comments!

*grins* I think my own knowledge of biological imperatives and mimicry is starting to bleed into Rodney, the poor bastard :opppppp

And thank you *so* much for the kind words -- you can't see it but you've managed to turn me bright red. I only hope that I continue to please in the future.

Thanks again for the feedback!
