wow! that was weird and interesting and incredibly touching. I liked Ronon and how he helped Rodney deal with his loss. I liked Caldwell, too, with his honest concern for Mckay (even though he turned out to be wrong, he was still honestly concerned). And I liked the reference to Rodney's past working at Area 51, and to Machello.

Rodney's superpower is the coolest; he's like a starfish! I loved Ronon and Rodney's interaction here in particular.

Hmm, but it was sort of temporary. Would they have stuck by him if he had a permanent disability? Well, yeah, probably, I think so -- but the guilt/anger issues with Ronon might have been worse then.

This was great! Oddly, though, I found myself fondest of Caldwell... his little scene was both revealing and very sweet.

Were you squicked by the regeneration or the fisting? Because I actually think that would be a very cool way to regenerate. But I could see John (or anyone) having issues with the childlike hand combined with sex. The fisting scene was supposed to be about overcoming that.

fisting, no problem. regeneration, no problem. It was definitely the child-hand doing the fisting. I can totally see that sex with that hand would freak out Sheppard and I can see that he gets over it--great work on your part--but I'm still faintly queasy! LOL Really it's a great story, I'll just remember it all that much better!
