Title: Cocytus Authors: eretria & murron Genre: Gen (Team) Rating: PG-13 Disclaimer: Not ours, not profiting, written for entertainment purposes only. Summary: They cry for those who have no one left to cry for them. ( addition )
Very nicely done. Bleak and horrifying; your descriptions were just right. I loved the alternate POVs giving just a bit more information each time. Great story!
Oh I did enjoy it. :D The different reactions to their situation were great, and the descriptions too.
I mean, it perhaps wasn't the perfect bedtime reading, but as far as scared icons go, the anxiety attack one of not being able to cope would have been probably this "hiding under my blanket" one *points*, not the more drama-like "meeep!" one, which I most often use for being scared or creeped out in a good way by fiction...
That was gorgeous. Gorgeous and dark and so very, very evocative. Your images... They are the things of nightmares and your character voices were dead-on.
Re: Nightmares. In hopes of not sounding like absolute wusses here, but we had to stop plotting on Saturday night because we both knew we wouldn't sleep with those images on our minds.
The comment about the character voices makes me - and I know it will be the same for murron - very happy. Thank you!
It left me with that hauntingly empty feeling because your images... your images are so hollow, so sad beyond sad.
And yes, your voices are perfect... So many times I run screaming from a story because every word out of someone's mouth is OOC, but yours are perfect. Which makes this story so beautiful and horrifying at the same time.
Thanks on my part, too. I'm thrilled to read the images left an impression. And, yes, eretria is right: I'm very happy about your comment on the voices :).

Wow. This is ... I literally don't have the words. Seriously, I'll sit here and quote the whole story, if I start.

Glad you ... hm. Is "enjoyed" the correct term here?
