'fraid so. Don't walk; run to watch 'Traders' DH played Grant in the tele series. As in the fic, Grant's either autistic or schizophrenic -- but it hasn't been stated in the eps that I've seen. DH plays the character amazingly well, he never segues into cheap laughs.

I'd love to, unfortunately all I've been able to find is season 1 on DVD. DirecTV carries other Canadian tv shows - why not this one? *despairs*

I've had a few ideas. Grant telling John about looking after Rodney when they were both little was one. John thought Rodney's nickname 'Squirrel' was pretty funny.

thank you. I felt that Rodney (and mostly everyone to be frank) would fear mental illness, but Rodney especially -- his intellect is his shield.

Oooooh! I just started watching Traders recently (Well, taping it on W Network at 3 am), so I was so excited to find a fic with Jansky in it! I could totally see Grant and Rodney being cousins because they are similar in a lot of ways -- and not just physically. Anyway, I really enjoyed this story. Thanks for sharing. :-)
