Oh, lovely. I like how human Rodney's response was to the mental deterioration of his cousin, and how guilty he feels for it - I could see both responses fitting him.

thank you. You're right his responses are 'human' -- I'm glad that came across. I think Rodney would truly fear mental illness, given that he displays some 'pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified' behaviours.

Oh, this is great, especially the part about Rodney seeing himself in Grant. Mental illness can be frightening even when it's not happening to someone you care about.

I could see Rodney running away from the mirror of Grant's mental disintergration and it's completely understandable.
