A/N: The instant I saw 20thcenturyvole's Rodney postcard, here (third one down), this story started taking over my brain.

Summary: Rodney's never said "I love you" to anyone because he thought it would sound ridiculous coming out of his mouth.

o.O

...and a happy Valentine's Day to YOU, too. Hot hot hot.

The shoulder thing is kind of sweet, too, and also THANK YOU for being, like, the only other person in fandom who thinks Rodney would have a hypersensitive gag reflex. ;)

Heh, it seemed not unreasonable. Plus, I liked the thought of poor Rodney working to overcome his little handicap for John. :)

Thanks!

Heh, V-Day. Which reminds me that I need chocolate. :)

Thanks, I'm very glad that this worked for you.

Did I miss a debate in regards to Rodney's gag reflex? Darn it, I always miss the good stuff.

Hey, thank *you* for making the postcard that started all those creative wheels turning. I really liked writing this story.

I'm very glad that it fit in with your ideas for the postcard. Thanks!

Hey, thanks!

Hee, I love this discussion of Rodney's gag reflex. It's like SNL's coffee talk, "Rodney's gag reflex--pro or con?"

I'm gonna come down con, because look what he eats. I know it's different and mechanical, but they're related.
