Amnesty Harlequin by Speranza

I think this is a personal best (worst?) for me--141k of flashfiction. I would say that this story is really weird, except actually, scarily, this story is really kind of typical for me. SGA seems to be the fandom where I feel like I should preface everything I write with an apology, and so--hey, I'm really sorry. Hope you enjoy it anyway ( Read more... )

Now see, this is the kind of quality crackfic I've come to expect from you. Bravo! I'll continue to follow you as I have, from fandom to fandom, starting with the Nature Series. (Though if you start writing the OC or something like, I may find it difficult.) Brothers! ::snickers:: Right now be glad you can't hear me, I'm singing "They're gay dating brothers!" to the tune of the theme song from the Patty Duke Show... Good crack!

Cesperanza: Purveyor of Quality Crackfic Since 1997! *g* And don't worry, there's no danger of me writing the OC. *g* And I love the "gay dating brothers!" theme song! Rock!

I love you.
That is all....

Well, not all.
Heh. This is funny, and sad and a whole bunch of things muddled up and squeezed into McSheppy goodnes.
I've just been reading ultra angst for the past few hours, so this fic was exactly what I needed!
Great work! ^^

I love you too, thank you! And "muddled up" is really about the nicest thing you could say about their situation ;). But hey, what the hell: the crack is free in fandom, right?

. The emotions. The drama. The--the--the incest and the family betrayals

You have no idea how amused I am that I wrote the story that provoked this comment. Clearly this is a new low. I'm half embarrassed and half-delighted. Never say never, I guess! But thank you for saying it wasn't only insane melodrama (though that was actually the prompt, with the Harlequin) but had something emotional real in it, too!

In defense of my guys, the armed nasty dudes hadn't shown themselves since Canada, and they were pretty skanky and about to go to try to convince people that they were sane. A shower and a shave isn't a terrible thing, really. *G* And okay, backfire, but hey!--who knew the NID were laying in wait for them to show up at the SGC?

And Rodney, man-Rodney is all about the efficiency!

That was crazy, amazing good. I'd like to say more, but it's about 1am and I need to be at work in just a few hours. But it was well worth staying up for!
