This is simply amazing. It's one of the most beautiful and unique stories that I've read in this fandom. I love it when writers make Atlantis a character, instead of an inert play place for SGA and it stands to reason that She would grieve for Sheppard and keep faith that he will return, while spuring other suitors.
Oh thank you so much for this one - I love your Radek voice which seems a perfect fit and his Bohemian soul.
I think Radek's more the guy who knows he has no chance and has honorable intentions toward the widow. Easing her pain rather than eyeing the other side of the bed.
How cool. That last line is great; it's a wonderful ending. I have been wanting some John/Atlantis stuff lately, and this was lovely and satisfying. Thanks.
God, this story is just so fantastic and lovely. The way you've brought across Atlantis' personality and how Radek is there for her in her time of need.
Until then Atlantis waits, like Penelope at her loom, picking apart her beautiful handiwork when nobody is looking and keeping faith when those around her would falter.
The last line just kills me because it's so perfect. I can't find enough words to tell you how much i enjoyed this story. Thanks for sharing, it's beautiful. Take care!
Thanks. Radek has become my default voice for the semi-omniscient observer. He hangs out with Rodney, so he never gets a word in edgewise, so he's learned to sit and watch.

I loved this, I loved the movement, and now I want a followup from the Redek POV after the January episode :)
Thanks for this!

The Odyssey reference came to me at the end, I'll admit, rather than at the beginning. But once found, it did seem to fit well.
