Oh, that conversation in Trinity killed me when I saw it the first time and the one here did much of the same -- owww and goooooood.

This is reallyreallyreally wonderful and your John and Rodney voices felt spot *on* to me.

*feels absurdly lucky to not have food allergies*

Awesome job!

Oh man, after doing this research, I also feel *so* lucky not to have any severe allergies. Glad you liked the story, thanks!

This was great- I've read anaphylactic!Rodney stories before, but this was a great twist on Trinity too, which is really smart.

The lack of clarity about Rodney's allergies and hypoglycemia has led to some good fics- I'm always curious if TPTB believe that Rodney's allergies are real or exagerated. I wonder if we'll ever find out?

Thanks for the story!

Oh man, Rodney actually almost dying, and Shep being the cause, and being an asshole. But then I feel sorry for Shep because he really does care, and he was worried they'd all get stuck with sharp objects, and why does everything off world have to do with food? Or blowing up solar systems.

Because food is *interesting*. And they encounter a lot of *weird* food. And this is the Food Challenge. (I suppose blowing up solar systems is interesting, too, actually, although in an entirely different way.)

*pets Shep* Yes. But Rodney doesn't see it that way.

Glad you liked it--thanks for commenting!

Excellent work, especially the parallelling of Trinity. The voice were spot-on, too.

Thanks! The Trinity thing was sort of a last-minute inspiration, so I'm glad everyone liked it so much.

It's really, really nicely done.

Epipens, though, can go easily through clothing -- they're designed that way. I've injected through fabric one, m'self (on a kid I know, who touched something that someone else must have touched with peanut residue on their hands).

...huh. I thought I included that...

*checks*

Ah. Yes. Rodney knows that, but John didn't. Rodney bitches him out about it while they're getting ready to leave.

Thanks for commenting--glad you think it's well done.
