These were fantastic. You managed to weave isolated incidents into a beautiful study of friendship. I do have a question in regard to fanfic etiquette. Is it considered bad manners to squee at a funeral? *salutes missing-man formation*

Never a fan of Sam/Jack ship I found these to perfectly depict the relationship I see between them - deep respect and friendship... and that almost incomprehensible (to outsiders) love and camaraderie that develops between service personnel who have served under fire together. Very, very well done.

Oh, I'm not called "Benevolent Dictatrix of the Realm of Ship-Free Stargate" for nothing. :) But yes, the two have a seriously marvelous friendship, and I'm grate to aurora_novarum for making jacksamfriends happen. Make sure you read the other fics there - I still haven't read them all yet, but what I've seen has been fantastic.
