general education requirements- gen eds- are a waste of my time. and money. ive wasted so many credit hours bullshitting my way through classes i didnt care anything for, when there were numerous other interesting classes i never got to take. liberal arts is outdated

we also have across the curriculum requirements (atcs) which are requirements for things like race and gender, environmental awareness, and speaking intensive/writing intensive designations. these designations are completely randomly applied and i know people who haven't been able to graduate or who have had to overload because some semesters the designation won't be applied to a class.
of course, at this point even required classes have become bullshit.
