Soooooo yes. after restarting twice *coughs* I might actually make this :D have a snippet! Helen and the Rio de Janeiro head of house on the phone. S2 au of the expanded Cabal War.

though this character. I swear. She started out as nothing more than a mustache twisting villain. And then I realized I didn't need another one of those and had one of those moments where the character started telling me all about her life. :P

so she's actually got a lot more depth, is kinda awesome and like spends her free time feeding the hungry and making sure kids get medical attention and fresh water and stuff. She's probably one of the best managers out of the heads of house - which makes her such a great foil for Helen.

She just blunt, rational, abrasive, aggressive, isn't instantly wowed by the great and powerful Helen Magnus, is hard to satisfy, and generally wants her corner of the world to be left the heck alone because they have enough problems without shadowy international organizations trying to curb stomp her progress ;)

She's totally a bitch XD but she's not malicious, and is really good at what she does.

Oooo, everything about this intrigues me. Werejaguars, extended Cabal war, extended Sanctuary network... and in response to your response to the other comment, I love the idea of an unlikeable good person. She's not evil, she's just not very easy to like. It's very authentic. :D

It'll be an interesting balance to walk, but she's kinda fun. I also ended up making this effectively a part I of a larger work, so it allowed me to be able to focus on things a lot better than I would have if I'd been trying to cram the whole story in before the deadline :D This way I'll still end up in the 20-25k range and it will just feel stronger as a work.

plus worldbuilding. I loooove doing that.
