This is my last Friday Snippet! I'm posting next Saturday, so it really wouldn't make a lot of sense to post a snippet the day before. ;-D

Here's a little snippet of a conversation between Helen and one of the girls she is trying to help in the course of the story. I used the situation and time frame to explore a lot of Helen's feelings about the Five (and to pepper in some history about them).

I went back and forth on what to use this week, but I finally decided to give people a quick peek at an original character that I introduced in the story. She plays a small but relatively important role in the story as the head of the Berlin Sanctuary, which is in a state of disarray and incompleteness due to the war. This is the first little section of my story's subplot. The pertinent information considering Helen's plot is all spelled out, and I think this will be enough to get people anxious for the rest of the story. I hope. Possibly. We'll see. ;-D
