it indeed sucks now that bush basically gets free four years (since he can't run for re-election in '08). it also sucks that martinez was re-elected. at least jeb'll be out of office soon. i think that a large number of votes in florida (for bush) were due in part to all the hurricanes. i think with his help and his brother's, it showed floridians this 'supportive father figure,' which is a shame. if you think about it, any president and governor would have done that. would californians re-elect the terminator if a major earthquake occurred in cali? i dunno. i don't know what to think about the amendments passing. i don't know which one was the slot machines but i hope it didn't pass. it's good the minimum wage one passed. the abortion one passing was completely stupid. it's a nice thought to have your parents know you got knocked up but say your father raped you. now he has the right to decide whether you get an abortion or not. also i think the stem cell research passed in california. which allows for like a decade of research
