I know I haven't updated in a while... haven't had much to say really. Here's the scope of what's been going on:
- Working full-time at new job (past 7 weeks now!)
- Started MBA course on the 2nd - so that keeps me busy.
- Surviving.

Jared came down this last weekend. We had lots of fun and spent the majority of the weekend shopping for necessities (food, toothbrushes, etc), good to have's (and still looking for, plastic window sealant), clothes (for me), shoes (for me too but was primarily for Jared) and chocolate (yum). Wrapped up my MBA 502 course last night. Looks like the waiver for 503 hasn't been processed yet so I get a break... for now... since they can't schedule anything until that comes back. I'm relieved, I need a break. Lots of sleeping for me.

I'm going to visit my parents and fiance this weekend. First, I've got to get through the work day - they're having a "Tiki" themed company lunch today. We're all supposed to wear bright colors. I've got all my stuff packed for the trip. I can't wait to see Jared tonight, I miss him so much.

In my fourth week at my new job, things are still going good. Plenty of work to do, it gets challenging but nothing that can't be handled with time, patience and good troubleshooting skills. It's not stressful which is a nice change. I just do my job and leave at the end of my day with none of the baggage I had at my old job. The rest of the group ( Read more... )

Sunday was scary. Jared and I went shopping in this run-down almost completely ghetto part of Columbus (we have been going there for a couple months now and it was never like Sunday was). Jared came home last night. We went and got chipotle for dinner since he hasn't had it in a long time. Slept in this morning and went to Aldi's to get some food. Did a little shopping. Went see if we won a car at the dealership - no word yet. Had filet minon tonight along with biscuits... mmmm. Settling down to do some coursework... yippie. :( Blah

...ah the sweet sound of angry, heavy guitar music while talking to customers through IM and resolving issues through remote control on the network. I busted down a lot of tickets today... tomorrow I will find out if I beat most of my co-workers. I'm sure I probably didn't surpass Paul's numbers though - he's wicked at tickets.
