Here's something my old pal Dan Caffrey told me: not everything is AMAZING. And if it is, the "amazing" thing in question deserves a more thorough description. How credible would I be to say that the new Kanye West album is "amazing"? you're right about the 'amazing' thing, and it works the same way with words like 'love' and 'need'
It's kind of like the word Awesome... I never use it unless i mean something is truly awesome, like Awe Inspiring... and then i call it awesome, and I look ignorant.

As far as people talking to you, I feel the same way, It seems that since i've gotten to college I've become very socially awkward. On the (thankfully) rare occasions that people try to initiate conversation, sometimes i'm just very tempted to interrupt them and say "please, stop talking to me, I had higher expectations for what you might have said, and I find myself disappointed by your banality."... everytime.

Just picked up Late Registration, but have not listened to it yet, but I have heard it blows College Dropout out of the water, which is saying a lot. I'm going to give it a listen, and afterwards, possibly dub it with the "a" word that I have come to dread so deeply.
