anything by david sedaris= gold

fear and loathing in las vegas= fucking amazing ( you will appreciate the man,hunter stockton thompson, and the movie more after you read this!)

Hahaha, like I said I'm sure Motorcycle Diaries is a good film, but man I just don't feel like watching it.

(Although I have friends set on not seeing Sideways too, so I know what you mean!)

it's more than good, it's amazing. it doesn't talk politics or glorify che (if that's what repulses you), it's a travel story. i loved it so much i read the book (as i have professed to you before, i want to be a wandering vagrant myself!)

I must say, that for the first time I actually sat and listened to her. Being informed that I no longer look like her removed my ban from anything beyonce'-related. And, frankly, she's fucking good.

i enjoyed my ishmael more than ishmael, but i think that's just because i related more to the pupil in that story. they're both worth reading though.

a few friends and i are actually trying to get together a book club of sorts, (yes, the tacky oprah kind, but with better books) and ishmael is the one we're reading first. you should come, it'll be interesting at least.
