Gisela woke up nice and early. Sleeping in the infirmary was never very comfortable, and she had to get up a few times to check on patients, but she felt awake and ready for the day regardless. DAY 56, Afternoon (flexible)
It’s a good day. Not too busy, no dramatics or explosions, no epidemics, no mass farm crisis. I haven’t finished inventory yet, but it will still be there when I go back. DAY 54 - Late morning, sitting room
She was looking for a place to hide. Well, not really hide. More like…get away. Her bedroom should have been the obvious choice, but it seemed so far away at the time. Day 53- Late Morning
It wasn’t often she had to cut open a patient before healing them. In this case, it had been a farmer with part of his hayfork broken off in his shoulder. She had removed her long-sleeve overshirt (whose bright idea was it to give the medics white uniforms anyway?) and did the operation in a sleeveless undershirt. Day 52 - Bright and Early - AKA Almost Noon
She didn't get to do any of her baking and making yesterday with all the hustle and bustle in the kitchen. She barely made it out alive with an apple. But now that the party was over and dishes were clean, the kitchen was blessedly empty.

DAY 51 - Morning
Gisela rolled out of bed bright and...somewhat earlyish. It was a new day, and she was determined to make it a better one than yesterday. No more silly mistakes. No more drinking.
...Well. No more getting drunk anyway.

DAY 50 - One month later - Morning
Things were slow for Gisela. And that was good. She finally had the infirmary back in shape and restocked. She was able to leave the castle and visit the neighboring villages that had no healers of their own. She'd been able to spend a bit more time with Gunter here and there ( Read more... ) -
DAY 21 - Early Evening
Jose was gone.
After all that trouble, everything she went through just to help him, and he up and left. The nurses she asked to attend him said they hadn't seen in him three days. SalzburgGwendal said they would be home before sunrise, but they hadn't counted on a young woman approaching them as they were getting ready to leave and asking Gisela to have a look at her husband.
