lol - i dunno why i just didnt put this in the comment i just left, but whatever.
my mom is church of england (my dad is jewish, they were like CHOOSE when i was 8, i decided to be jewish b/c i wanted a bar mitzvah), lol. and she still makes the family go to services on christmas and easter and such. and whenever they have the procession to the altar, they hold up a huge Holy Bib-Ley (we may be changing the pronounciation on that, but for right now we think a holy bib-ley is what everyone needs), which happens to be red - and all i can think of is eddie saying "little red cookbook, little red cookbook" the entire time and i usually crack up at which point both my mom and dad get really pissed at me. lol. you may be one of the few people i know that find that amusing, so yeah. lol.
hhahahahaa....omg. i've seriously been laughing over that for 5 minutes now. must...stop....hahahahaha yeah my dad was married twice. He started off Protestant and converted to marry his first wife,a jewish woman, so my half-siblings are both jewish. Second time he married my Christian mom. So we'd get to celebrate ALL holidays! As if things weren't confusing enough I was born on Dec.25--yep,Christmas! last birthday:"Happy birthday to me...Happy birthday to me!" Grandmother:"Jennifer,it's not your birthday, it's JESUS's birthday." Sister:"So wait, when IS her birthday?" Grandmother:"From the time the cake's on the table to the time it leaves." Me(aghast): "Five minutes?!"
-- scarily enough, she was SERIOUS! haahaha. gotta <3 family gatherings...
