[ He leans against the large door at his back, idly thumbing the strange device in his hand.
The sun is wrong, at an odd angle, meaning that his flight took him away from Japan at the very least.
But there is an oddness in the air, and something tastes wrong. Smells wrong. He would have picked up on it even as a human. In a breath, he tries

Oh, you must be new! Yeah, there's lots of people here! But you already caught onto the idea that we can't leave...
But don't worry, there's gotta be a way out! We'll find one!

Hello! It's wonderful to see such a pretty face gracing this screen. Just seeing a sight as dazzling as you lifts my spirits immensely.
[ He pauses, staring at the girl's bright eyes and tumbles of red hair, and recognition scratches at him, but the feeling only supplies him with vague images of soda cans and that same music-in-headphones buzz, and that isn't helpful, so he ignores the feeling.]
But, honestly, I was beginning to fear this place was inhabited solely by men. It's nice to see I was mistaken.

But never mind that, Rise heard his words loud and clear along with seeing him now without the interruption of her power. What a treat! Oh, if he had been at home, he could have easily been a model. Bright eyes, flawless skin, cool hair, and so suave. He was just as good-looking as, if not more than, some of her colleagues that she had worked with in the industry.]
Oooh, aren't you such a charmer? I bet you say that to all the girls!
[But compliments, she will take them all! She giggled at his assessment, and could see how he could come to that conclusion. At least he hadn't been looking so glum now either.]No, there are other girls around, trust me! And even if what you said was true, I'd be glad to be in a place like that with you! You're really cute ( ... )

He met her exuberance head on.]
Ms Kujikawa, it is an honor. My name is Mochizuki Ryoji, but, please, just call me Ryoji. I hope we can get along.
[ He smiled, hand on his chest. ]
It's a shame for such a princess to be trapped in a place like this, but it would delight me to act as a champion for a beauty such as you.
[He watches her face, and it's like looking at a poster.]
I hope you don't interpret this as me falling back on tired cliches, but I feel like I've seen you somewhere before.

In that case, Ryoji, you can just call me Rise too! It's really nice to meet you! If I'm a princess, I gotta say you're doing a great job as Prince Charming yourself!
[He might not have been Seta Souji since Souji-senpai was her one and only, but there was something about Ryoji that she already liked.]
Really? You think so? Hm, then... [She took a chance since, judging from his name, he did come from Japan or from one of the Japans out there in the world.] ... Have you heard of Risette?

Oh! I cannot believe I didn't recognize you sooner.
[ His cheeks were coloring lightly, and he scratched at his beauty mark with distracted fingers.]
A close friend of mine loved your music, and another friend of mine loved...well, he was a big fan.
I must say, I thought you were pretty when your print campaign for Calorie Magic was pointed out to me, but you are so much more charming in person. Your voice really does sound like it should be coming through the radio or on loud speakers.
But, tell me. How did an idol like yourself end up in a place like this? I haven't met many people yet, but as far as I can tell, there's something truly strange going on here.

But it was something to think about for later again. For now, she gave him a big smile, cheerful and sincere.]
Aww, you really are so sweet... Thank you so much! It's always super nice to meet fans, but it's even better now that I can call you a friend!
That's the thing with Wonderland, I think it doesn't discriminate against who they bring in or send home. It's got the power to do that somehow. I have a few friends from home here with me though, so I know we'll be okay!
[And there was someone who was definitely, definitely not a friend. Ugh. But let's not think about that.]
Has anyone told you how Wonderland works yet?

[The presence of a pretty girl did wonders to banish the rise of guilt bubbling in his chest.]
And, no, not really.
[He adjusted his scarf, smiling. ]
I know that you forget things when you leave, despite the fact that you apparently can't leave, but beyond that, I'm afraid I'm ignorant. Care to enlighten me, princess?

[It was still something like summer in Wonderland, and Ryoji still kept on his scarf. Was it some kind of fashion statement? Rise giggled, thinking about it. He did look good with it on, after all.
Once he gave his answer, she immediately knew she had to provide him with answers about Wonderland. And how could she say no when he continued to be as charming as ever?]
For my prince, then anything, of course! For starters, the Mansion seems to be alive. I've been told it feeds off our memories, then plays them live for everyone else to experience too. When it happens, everyone calls them "events."
The other thing that you might not have expected is the mirrors. There's some other world on the other side of them!
