Hunnisett's stays for a larger woman

okely doke, I'm larger than the woman this pattern is for.  Last Sunday I cut it out of good old calico (the aussie stuff), and realised that I was indeed bigger than the pattern.  Cos I 'd scanned & scale printed this pattern, and was stumped as to how to grade it, I decided to guestimate how much bigger and scaled the pattern by 20% across.  Too

The fabric is quite gorgeous!! :D It may be unfinished, but the outfit looks great! :D

it's the first time I've had to sew myself into a costume cos it wasn't finished. I think I'll remake it ... the brocade wasn't hideously expensive, cos the bones on the side need to be a bit longer.
