and quality is better than quantity/cheapness sometimes. get what you want that suits you best and you won't have to buy another desk in a few years time.

I'm all for spending money on the right tool for the job ... it's easier, more efficient, less likely to cause an injury and cheaper than buying more than one of the not-right tool.

You could always ask if they could hold it for you, or they might be able to get one in from another store.
