Still working on my old computer. Also, they released the ENTIRE THIRD SEASON OF THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY today! I am going to have to be soooooooo strict with my time. I've watched 2 episodes so far. There are no spoilers when I say that I love Klaus (of course) and Five. I love the way they handled Elliot's transition. :)

Hidden Figures that the movie is based on? Whether or not it is, it's too bad that it's not holding your interest.

ButThe Doll House, sounds interesting, faults and all.

Yes, it is. It's not very good, though. I gave up about 4 chapters in. The story seems super interesting but she's just not a very good writer. It's filled with horrible laboured metaphors and this sort of a breathless tone. At some point I'll just watch the movie instead!

The Dollhouse was kind of the opposite. It was written so well that it was easier to ignore its faults.

I have tried to read Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly twice as I loved the movie but it is so very dry and confusing that I ended up giving up less that 1/4 in. This is unusual for me as I read a lot of biographies/autobiographies/true accounts etc. and usually don't have any trouble persevering but I am very disappointed that such an interesting story is so difficult to read.

Taylor and I watched the first episode last night and I'm enjoying it. I love how much of a little old man Five is. That kid is an amazing actor. And Klaus... he's just a lovable weirdo. That's all I've got. LOL

Right? He's really phenomenal. I won't be able to watch anymore until maybe Saturday. It's hard being good. LOL

I know it. I watched five of the ten episodes of The Lincoln Lawyer the day after it released on Netflix. I made myself ration it after that. LOL

If you've ever read The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, she referred to the Barbizon as The Amazon.

She's referenced in the book, though apparently she only lived there for one month. I may look for a non-fiction book on the hotel because it's an interesting topic.
