*checks off one more book*

Last night we had a crazy windstorm with dark clouds and I was tempted to stand outside in the yard shouting, "Auntie Em! Uncle Henry!" but instead I curled up on the sofa and finished a book. That was much better than getting conked on the head, but probably not as good as getting some really pretty sparkly red shoes.

Sounds like a good book, even with the clichés. But love conquers all. :-)

Sometimes it's just nice going in knowing that everything is going to work out in the end. :D

I really need to read this. Fireman's Carry was what became the first half or so of this book, but I need to know more. LOL

So happy you enjoyed it!

Yes, this was the one that you recommended through the first one. This one just references the events of the first short story and takes up a few weeks after where it left off, so I didn't miss anything from having not read Fireman's Carry. I'm sure you'd like it!

Oh, that's good to know! I like their (hers? his?) books as it is, so I know I'll enjoy this when I eventually get to it. Hahaha.
