No lie, that booster is killah!

Dec 31, 2021 00:30

I have definitely been knocked out for the past couple of days. First starting to nod off during the rare work file that I could find, and then falling asleep *sitting up in my chair*? As well as all the aches and pains. I guess I am 'lucky' in the sense that there has not been much work since Christmas, so I'm not really missing anything. And ( Read more... )

Happy New Year to you!

Yeah, that booster was no picnic for me either. I didn't have any side effects other than a sore arm, but the person that gave it to me was so goony and put it up close to the shoulder that the sore arm lasted for 3 days and I couldn't sleep on it.

90 books! That is seriously impressive. I'm not sure what my own count was for the year, only that if I got a sixth of that I'd consider myself lucky.

Like you I love the blank page of a New Year. Here's hoping 2022 is good to us all!

Thank you. Haaaaaappy New Year!

It's definitely hard to remember that it's worth it when you're struggling so much after the damn shot. Maybe this will be the last time. *crosses fingers*

Ugh, just saw this. I was writing up my yearly book review. In 2022 I plan to get back on that writing train so *crosses fingers*

I got the booster Wed and about 8 hours after I seriously had moments where I wanted someone to put me out of my misery. Way worse than the first two. I had uncontrollable shakes from the chills and my temp went up to 102 for a bit. Thank goodness for Tylenol. It helped a lot. I’m finally starting to feel better.

Oh wow! You definitely had it worse than me. It's hard to remember that it's worth it when you're suffering that badly. Glad to hear that you are starting to feel better. Hope you have a good start to your New Year!

Hope you are starting to feel better now.

I too love all the new 'list' post for the new year. Looking forward to posting a few over the weekend.

Well done on reading so many books this year.

I absolutely am. I made the decision last night to sleep as late as I wanted today. I ended up waking up at the same time, but I stayed in bed and just dozed for another 2 hours. I also stayed in my PJs today. I think the extra rest helped. :)

I hope you're feeling better now. It took Taylor 3 or 4 days to get over the side effects. Maddie went through something similar.

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear that about your girls. It took me three days as well, not counting the day I actually got the booster. Yeek.

It's worth it if it means that they're extra protected now. Same goes for you!
