Also, looks like your power is broken. Perhaps your cooler as well - the random shut-downs as well as the buzzing noise happen when cooler is broken. Your components get hot and the computer automatically shuts itself down when the heat reaches a certain point. As for DVD burner, it costs like $20. I think you could get all the parts under $100 or even less - if this is table computer we're talking about. Depends how old the components are inside the box. If you're talking about a laptop, then it's a different thing. THEN you should get a new one. /nerdy rant (sorry!)

The computer does not get hot. It just went through a phase where it randomly shut itself off. It hasn't done it for awhile, now it just won't start up. *sigh* And the thing is, getting the parts doesn't help as I'd have no idea how to install them. I'd have to have that done too, which is where the cost then at least doubles. *sigh* It hurts my brain.

I went through a bDub phase myself and he'll always remain on my favorite actors list but I'll admit that I haven't yet seen Red or 16 blocks!!! :/ I'll for sure have to check them out! I love that you love that I love Bruce Willis, heeeeeeeeeeeee! I can't help it, he's awesome. Sexy AND talented is rare, yo. I highly recommend both RED and 16 Blocks. As for Armageddon? It's not a good movie by any means, but damn if it doesn't make me cry every.damn.time. LOL

Bluh, your computer problems make mine sound like nothing. Another annoying thing is that this computer is only 1.5 years old! Part of me thinks I should bring it in for an estimate but I just KNOW that I'm only delaying the inevitable (and wasting money) by doing so... should just bite the bullet. *sigh*
