Thanks for the recap. I was so bored with the terrible singing and horrid song choices I wanted to change the channel. I really like Amanda but what was she thinking.Brooke was good but yuck to the rest. Lets get to the top 6. Lyn

Seriously. The women are either over the top screechy or bland and boring, and almost all of them are having trouble with their low notes. It drives me bananas. Bring on the men!

I was just thinking that. I don't think there has ever been a season that I disliked EVERY girl. It's crazy. On the other hand, I like EVERY one of the guys, which has never happened.

Then mens side is soooo much more talented and versatile than the womens. I would love to see a Final 3 consisting of just the men.

I have loved Brooke since the first audition and I was thrilled when it was going to be 70's. Okay, let me amend that. I think having a theme nigh so early on is ridiculously lame and detrimental to getting the best top 12. But. BUT! I *knew* when it was 70's that meant I could potentially hear Brooke singing either Carly Simon or Joni Mitchell.

I've put my thoughts on my LJ. My elimination prediction is just any of them. I don't like Carly at all. I have this "I'm a professional" vibe from her. I want her to go. Like now. I just have no comments for the rest of the girls. They are just horrible. I can say they are good or okay. And why the hell does Asia'h think she can sing that song? Only one person can sing that song - Celine Dion. It's a silent rule for god's sake. Don't sing Mariah Carey's, Whitney Houston's or Celine Dion's if you're just going to butcher it!

Carly doesn't look comfortable on the stage, IMO. She looks like she's trying too hard (probably because she's straining to hit those notes!)

Lol your remarks about Carly. I've disliked her from the start. I don't like screamers. I like singers with warmth, resonance, range and control like the late Karen Carpenter, Carly Simon and Kelly Clarkson. I think Carly Smithson is scary looking. I shouldn't judge her by her husband but her husband has his whole face tattooed!

Is Kristy Lee Cook the one who sold her "awesome" horse so she could go to American Idol? That turns me off!
