The first name i looked up when i saw you posted this commentary is Ramielle. *wink* It's a Filipino thing. Heeee. :D

But, but ... wheeeee! She did great!!! *sigh of relief* I've yet to see this until tonight but that's not gonna stop me from reading your whole post. Ha!

The male contestant were SOOOOO good yesterday. ♥ I have to agree w/ you that almost all the guys rocked the house with their performances -- save for Jacuzzi, erm... Chikezee and the hot!looking Luke. Meh.

So far, i'm getting real nice vibes with David A., Jason, Garret, David Cook and *clutches heart* Jason Castro ♥!

Oh, she was clearly CLEARLY the best of the women. I'm hoping she just consistently does well, because they don't seem to see her as a threat, so she'll sneak in under the radar!

I'm always so much more interested in the guys! I guess I just prefer male voices... and also, men don't do those annoying vocal runs/belting things that the women do, that annoy so.

eta: sorry, took out my last part, I mixed you up with someone else! Oops!

Yup. I generally always like the men better anyway, since they (usually) don't belt or screech or do annoying vocal runs that stretch single syllable words to 7 syllables. But I think this crop is particularly good! I'm sad to see poor little Garrett go home, though. He was just in over his head.

Amanda's vocal was definitely not great, but I loved the performance aspect and she's got a GREAT personality. I loved when Ryan asked her about her car accident and she was all "sorry for pulling out in front of you, dude." LOL!

Carly can go home anytime now.

I read your post about AI but I've only got time for reading my flist at the moment. Sorry I didn't respond to it. I'll do better next week!

I adored Asia'h, although I'm really wondering what's with the extra "H" on her name. Pfft. She has a great voice, a fabulous personality, and I think she can handle the competition. Just based on this performance and her other clippets, obviously. We'll see.

Brooke was good. I love her attitude. Her voice can be better - we'll see what happens next time.

Carly? Totally disappointed me. :( :( :(

So why do you think Asia'h drops some of her first letters? She's kind of got a crackly speaking voice too...

Brooke is SO bubbly. I foresee her annoying me sometime in the future, if she sticks around.

Carly can go home anytime now.

I was pretty much underwhelmed by the girls. Several of them were overpowered by the band, I thought. That one girl could make a fortune in Vegas as a Britney impersonater. I saw someone that there are no Britney impersonaters in the Vegas shows because she has such a unique sound and look, but with the right makeup, that girl could pull it off.

I went years -- years -- without ever hearing a Britney Spears song, until one day one was playing in the supermarket and my record was smashed. I was crushed. ;/ So anyway, if by "unique" you mean "whiny and annoying", then yup, Britney sure is unique. :D

Erm, apologies if you are a Britney fan.

'Unique' was the word the tv show used when describing why it was so hard to find a Britney impersonator. She is apparently difficult to impersonate. Who knew? No, not really a fan, but not a hater either. Just don't really care about her one way or the other.
