It is. as unfortunate as it sounds.

Ha ha! I wish. I bet I'm lucky to be getting paid at all, considering they could have conveniently called this community service, or paying a debt to society. I am glad that they saw it my way.

I doubt I'll be getting my badge back.

Exactly. I have met, and dealt, with much worse, so I doubt anything here will be new to me.
