For the most part, I'd say it was a really nice day at work. It wasn't busy at any of the desks for the most part, usually check-out, reference, and service desk are swamped. And although there were a lot of people in, they were all at computers, or sitting at study tables with their laptops, reading, doing work. It was a library being used well,

Hee! I love how you're out there, living the life. Did they teach Jen and April about the pie guarding and bird catching in library school?
I hope so.

Probably not, but they should. Jen should bring it up to one of her professors that it should be added to the curriculum.

ha. actually, early on in my chinchilla owning days, my friends had to take hildegaarde, my massive chinchilla in a purse like carrier to the library while i was having a fire inspection and hiding her cage. :x she spent five hours quietly munching away in the beloit college library.
