And OMG, I squeed so hard upon realizing that it was going to be a hypothermia!fic. 'Cause as you may know, hypothermia is one of my fave fic cliches! But of course Taliesin, being Taliesin, it doesn't work in the usual cliche way. Instead she makes sure

Oh, I've just re-read The Virgin in the Ice, too! It's one of the two Cadfael books I have, the other being The Devil's Novice (must really get down to buy the other ones, though)!

Oh, and PLEASE do write some Doctor/Master hypothermia fic: I'd definitely read it (it's one of my fave cliches, too!). :)

Time Lords have a hard time getting hypothermia (I believe I remember Tom Baker strolling comfortably around a Styrofoam Antarctica in his regular jacket), but apply enough cold, and it should work. They can hang around deep space for a few minutes without any real damage, but much past the five-minute point, you get noticeable hypothermia. So, it could work. It just takes something much colder than ordinary snow.

Presumably, enough cold would do it.

oh yah, I figured it have to be some sort of extreme, and probably not even called hypothermia, but some other thing that you can only get in space. *ponder ponder*
