Doctor Who: EDAs

I've got a question for the Doctor Who fans on my friends list who read the EDAs. Is there anyone that you typically cast in your head as the various characters from the books?

For example, the first person to pop into my head when I think of Fitz is Callum Blue (Mason from Dead Like MeSo who do you cast in your head as Sam? Compassion? Anji? Trix

The only one I've ever cast is Fitz--yes, Callum Blue--and that's mostly because Mason is Fitz. I convinced myself of this so thoroughly that I forgot Mason's real name the last time I rewatched DLM (and I really need to rewatch it again).

Trix I can't even see at *all*--is she supposed to be blonde? Brunette? The writers made her so good at disguising herself that she's just a blur when I read her.

Trix is the one who's really giving me trouble too. I mean, with the others I at least have an idea what they probably look like. Her? Not so much.

In other Doctor Who related news, poet_drake has come to the conclusion that Romana is beyond brilliant.

That's the inevitable conclusion, no matter who you are. ;)

No argument there, but that doesn't help me figure out who Sam and Anji Trix look like. :-P

Alas, I cannot help you there. I've never read a book with Anji Trix in it, and I never got any partcular mental image for Sam.

I actually have someone in mind for Anji, but Trix? Yeah, not so much. :-/

Parminder Nagra for Anji, but that's pretty much just because I love Parminder so much I have to put her in as every young Indian character possible. :-)

Anji - Mina Anwar sans her Northern accent (she's possibly going to be on Sarah Jane Adventures next year, which will explode my brain because she's been my picture of Anji for as long as I've been reading the EDAs)

I've seen various people on my friends list mention SJA rumors, but I haven't actually seen a link to said rumors. You wouldn't happen to know where I could find them, would you?
