Doctor Who: EDAs

I've got a question for the Doctor Who fans on my friends list who read the EDAs. Is there anyone that you typically cast in your head as the various characters from the books?

For example, the first person to pop into my head when I think of Fitz is Callum Blue (Mason from Dead Like MeSo who do you cast in your head as Sam? Compassion? Anji? Trix

I'm completely unable to help you, seeing as I know virtually nothing about the Whoverse. I just wanted to say that I think the new banner is an improvement on the previous incarnation, where you couldn't see all of their faces. :)

Do you just mean that, with the previous banner, I didn't have all of the companions on it? Or do you mean that you couldn't see the ten main faces on it?

I couldn't see the ten main faces. One or two of them were obscured in some manner.

Really? How were they obscured?

ETA: Oh, you probably use the navigation strip don't you? I keep it disabled because it annoys the heck out of me, so I always forget that some people use it.
