Well, we're between tornadoes at the moment. The first line's past us, and the second and third ones haven't hit yet. :-/

Anyway, I think that it's safe to say I've created a slasher when it comes to Nikki. She has completely fallen in love with several pairings, canon and non-canon, and is currently going through my del.icio.us bookmarks for ( Read more... )

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that one doesn't hit our campus like it did Union. It's lectureship week here, so we've got over a thousand guests on campus and in various hotels in Henderson (and Jackson.)

It has the potential to get very bad, very fast. :-/

Storms are bad enough without them being staggered. Enough already, Mother Nature! *shakes head* Stay safe!

I really feel bad for the students over at Union University. They've already had several of their dorms wiped out in the first line of storms, and they're frantically trying to find somewhere to send the students before the next ones hit. :-/

~nods~ That's the worst part. If the first one hits ya, you know there are even more - usually worse - storms right behind it. All kinds of terrifying. Oklahoma has a special relationship with awful weather, but we've been lucky so far. *knocks on wood* We had a storm last night, but it was mainly just a lot of sound and fury.
