As pretty much everyone on LiveJournal has probably noticed by now, they've made some changes to the cut tags. Which, fine, it's another case of "if it's not broken, why fix it?" that they seem to do so well with, but it's not that big a deal, right? Right? Thank you for the link to get appropriate coding to fix the cut tags. The little scissors were kinda cute the first time I saw them, but they get old fast.

And the worst part is that there are apparently tons of people out there who can't even see them, because their browser doesn't support the unicode used.

Yeah... don't think I'm a fan of the scissors. Maybe they'll grow on me?

The ONLY benefit that I can see w/ the new scissors is you can tell if something's a fake LJ cut.

That's the only thing.

The worst part is that there are apparently tons of people out there who can't even see them, because their browser doesn't support the unicode used. Or because the font they use in their journal is too small for it to work properly. Or-- well, you get the picture. :-/

I haven't had any issues with the new cut tag but, yeah. Wth. Thanks for the fix-it link.

And hey - Missouri is being amazingly embarrassing, too, so - join the freakin' club.
