On the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes front, new episodes won't actually be airing in the United States until the Thor movie comes out next month. Yeah, i'm loving that new ThunderCats trailer. I was a major watcher of that and Silverhawks during their original runs too. Cheetarah was no small influence on my love of the Bo Staff. Between her and Donatello in TMNT, i got very fond of it as a weapon ( ... )

I was a huge ThunderCats fan as a kid (hell, my online name stems from a very detailed RPG that my brother and I came up with based on the series), so I was thoroughly expecting to hate this new series. But it looks good. I wasn't expecting that.

Wow, people are bitching at LJ for this? LJ's got Vladamir fucking Putin after them. They're lucky he doesn't show up in their offices and throw a live tiger at them. A little downtime is to be expected.

And yeah, they're being champs about this. They could just defend their profits and ban the political activists, but instead they're sticking up for them, so good on them.

Dreamwidth sent me a new invite code too. I don't think the timing was an accident. :/ It doesn't really work as a backup for me, because pretty much all the stuff I come to LJ for is here, not there. And I don't cross-post, because it's just too much of a headache when you're friends-only, and I like my comments in one place so people can interact there more easily if they choose to. Not that I ever post. >__>

I'll admit, I think that a lot of people didn't quite realize what was going on. I was just starting to really get frustrated at all the people talking about how LiveJournal's made of fail when, for once, it's not their fault.
