Fun fact: the scenery and costumes in the '77 stage production starring Langella were designed by Edward Gorey.

I read about that. Judging from what little I can see of Gorey's designs in google image search, they were far more minimalist than what was made for the movie. It's a real shame they couldn't, or didn't want to, use Gorey's designs. The movie's abbey, in particular, is fun in a decadently cheesy way (convenient Dracula picked the place with a massive bat head in the great hall), but it would've been nice to have a good film record of Gorey's designs in use.

The guy playing Harker looks a lot like Trevor Eve to me.

According to Wikipedia, that's Trevor Eve indeed. I don't think I've seen him in anything before. He did a decent enough job in this.

He's a big noise in Brit TV. From 2000 to 2011 he starred in Waking the Dead- a popular cop show about a cold case unit.
