Oh yes, you should also point out that as dragon riders, Jared and Jensen spend their entire lives wearing tight leather pants, boots, poet shirts and old school bomber jackets. Leather gloves and old style aviator caps and goggles for Thread fighting.

I thought about it! Really! I originally felt Jared might work on an enormous brown too.

I'm disturbed that I really like this idea and would totally read a fic like this. Pern was kind of my dirty little secret growing up and apparently my porny mind imprinted on it. I was always disappointed that they never addressed the guys who imprinted (slutty female) greens in the books.

Oh man, I remember the day I suddenly took a closer look at those damn books and went, OH HEY. THIS SCENE READS RATHER LIKE A RAPE, DOESN'T IT. :-/ And I used to LOVE those books- god help me, I played in a Pern RPG board on Prodigy (how's THAT for dating myself) when I was like, 11.

I feel that a more Perny J2 AU would do MUCH to reclaim these books for me. *nods*
